The Spoon – (Extra Thick) This Spoon measures 17 inches long by 3 1/2 inches wide by 3/4 inch thick. Crafted from Heavy White Oak hardwood, it's sure to sweeten up your little sourpuss' attitude. For added intensity, turn it sideways to create deep, delicious marks! I have the pattern and make this with variations of handle style and shapes. Thickness can be changed. Treated with WALRUS OIL – Fractionated Coconut Oil, 100% Natural Wood Finish Conditioner and Cutting Board Oil. You can use common good quality Coconut oil so you can maintain finish. Growing up, my Mom always had a wooden spoon close at hand. Whether it was hanging in the kitchen, or it snuck into her purse for church service, we always knew that the correction of defiance was just a reach away. Even though the sting of that spoon haunted me late into my teen years, there was something about it that just felt like “home.” It shouldn’t surprise anyone that when I moved out to my own place, I wanted to keep the nostalgia going. I had paid enough attention in Wood Shop class in high school that I had decided to craft the most beautiful of spankings spoons out of some spare Sapele wood I had in the garage. Sanded and oiled, the grain was gorgeous. While I didn’t know if this spanking spoon would ever actually fulfill its purpose at the time, it was a conversation piece for my living room none the less. Buddies of mine would grab it and smack each other on the biceps, girls I brought home to fuck often playfully inquired about it. It wasn’t until Heidi slept over that I had my first real opportunity to break it in. When I say break it in however, I actually mean break her in. Something about Heidi was different; something about her felt like keeping for awhile. So when we woke up that first morning, exhausted from the multiple middle of the night orgasms, it wasn’t a surprise that she caught a sleep deprived attitude with me. I kept my cool however, and excused myself to the kitchen. Flipping the smooth spoon handle in my palm, I grew with excitement as I realized that the roles were now officially switched— and I would be the person reaching for the spoon. Welcome home, Heidi. These unique characteristics add to the individuality and charm of every item. To clean – Mild Dish Soap + Warm Water Use a damp—not soaked—cloth with soapy water. Wipe, then dry immediately. Good for routine cleaning without stripping too much oil. Routinely reapplying coconut oil will improve life and look. Notes & Tips: Avoid soaking the wood with water or solvents—this can warp it.
